My lens has crap on it now. Nothing I can do about that! When I finally stopped shooting with the other camera long enough to look, I figured all the shots would be useless on mine, since it looked like it was raining crap right on it. It was, but not bad enough to block the view out, though it was close by the end.

That shows the shower of crap going north onto my camera pretty good. Actually my camera is inside that curtain there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IMO....that is freaking cool.

 

 

That wide angle really can give an interesting perspective on things. You have to get really close to something to make it big. So the camera is really close to the mortar tubes. Yet at the same time, those far off explosions(directly above) will be smaller...but they are so big...they still tend to fill the frame width. Those brighter streaming hot ambers are likely floating by very close to the lens.
