Crappy lighting...cool scene. Looking south.

Had the lightning been more constant, I'd have done a time lapse video of this. Guessing that would be slightly cool.

This was rather interesting, a wall of fog rolls in from the west, so so slowly.

I did shoot a good bit of video of this approaching and over taking me. I could make a time lapse out of that. I put the vid cam on a tripod while it was still out there quite a ways. I knew it was going to overtake me eventually.

After it gets to me, it completely blocks out the sun and the wind picks up to about 20 mph. I waited and waited for it to clear, but it never did. I couldn't even see the road part way down the hill right below me. I had to drive down to the valley to see the hills stuck up in the fog. Pretty cool little morning. I wish it had coincided with the full moon though. Hard to get moon lit fog when the moon sets at 11 pm. Maybe next year, as I doubt it gets as good as it has been the 6th, 7th, and 9th again this year.
